About

The average life expectancy is under 40 in parts of Africa. More than 25 million people have died from AIDS since 1981.  Tuberculosis kills someone about every 30 seconds. Millions more are not dying, but are in such miserable conditions they wish they were.

Find out what is plaguing communities around the world to know what you can do about it. Begin with awareness to change the world. One health problem at a time.

You see, there are three kinds of people:

Those who make things happen.

Those who wish things would happen.

Those who ask, “What happened?”

Staying aware of current events about issues you are passionate about (like public health) is the least we can do to be involved. Once a man was asked which he thought was worse, ingorance or apathy. He replied, “I don’t know and I really don’t care.”  If we care, we should know.  By keeping up on global health events (like following this blog!) you are contributing to the barrier against ignroance and apathy, which must be stomped out before progress can begin.

Is not indifference to evil more evil than evil itself?
